found that Celebrex improved flexibility in "hardened arteries"

Ruschitzka, MD, "Anti-inflammatory agents used to treat arthritis,
such as COX-2 inhibitors, may not only reduce inflammation in the

On the first day, adults take 400 mg for the first dose then 200

a day.
For rheumatoid arthritis:
Adults take 100 to 200 mg twice a day.
For osteoarthritis:
For adults, 200 mg a day as a single dose or 100 mg twice day.
For children prescribed Celebrex, please consult a physician for
specific dose requirements.
Taking two or more of the nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs
together on a regular basis may increase the chance of unwanted
effects
Stomach problems may be more likely to occur if you drink alcoholic
beverages while being treated
Store the medication in a cool place free of moisture.
The following is a listing of the most common side effects: Cough,
fever, skin rash, sneezing, sore throat, swelling of face, fingers,
feet, and/or lower legs.
If you experience any of the following serious side effects, stop
taking Celebrex and seek medical treatment or contact your doctor
immediately: Bloody/black tarry stools, burning feeling in chest
or stomach, chills, congestion in chest, cough, diarrhea, fever,
fatigue, muscle pains, nausea, shortness of breath, severe stomach
pain, unusual weight gain, or vomiting of material that looks like
coffee grounds.
